Get it on PC. It isn't "unoptimised" Most mid-range PCs can run it with better graphics than a PS4 by miles. PC people just tend to want to be able to run everything at 4K 60fps, max everything. It can do that, but at 30fps. That's not unoptimised for the sack of costly NVIDIA effects that are in the game.

After Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition was announced, some pretty hefty recommended system requirements were making the rounds on the Internet. These specs came from a Square Enix press release and made any budget-conscious PC player-slash- Final Fantasy fan very, very sad.
Final Fantasy 16 harkens back the series' core while still adding a refreshingly new experience. Avid fans will recognize music motifs from older titles interwoven into the new tracks in a beautiful way. The reason we had a PC version on the cards right from the beginning was that we very much had a policy and a vision of getting Final Fantasy XV to as big a player base as possible. Obviously, there are a lot of very large PC markets out there, so in order to satisfy those customers and give it to them we needed to do a PC version.
