Keep in mind Audi produce 2 3.0 litre engines, one being a petrol unit while the other is a common rail single turbo with twin intercoolers. I owned this particular model until only 3 months ago. The 2007 model Audi A6 3.0 litre V6 tdi and I can assure you this engine does NOT have a timing belt, it runs a series of timing chains.
